  • Where is the Ribfest site?

    The Rotary Club of Halifax Harbourside is pleased to announce the new location of the 6th Annual Rotary Ribfest at Alderney Landing on the Dartmouth Waterfront.
  • What can I bring in?

    No outside food or drinks – No Smoking –  No pets (On duty service dogs are welcome)
  • What is the cost of admission?

    Admission to Halifax Ribfest is FREE
  • Do vendors accept credit or bank cards?

    No, but there are ATMs on site.
  • What other kinds of foods are available in addition to pork ribs? What about gluten free options?

    Along with pork ribs our vendors will serve beef ribs, chicken, french fries, kettle corn, ice cream, and much more. Yes, there are gluten free options.
  • What are the prices for ribs?

    $25 for a full rack, $16 for a half rack, $10.00 for a third rack. (Prices may vary by Ribber)
  • Are children allowed in?

    ABSOLUTELY…this is a family event! Please note that all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

    Only individuals age 19 and over with proper identification will be allowed to purchase/consume alcohol at Halifax Ribfest

  • What are the hours of operation?

    Friday, July 3rd 11am – 11pm

    Saturday, July 4th 11am – 11pm

    Sunday, July 5th 11am – 7pm

  • How do I volunteer?

    Contact volunteer@ribfesthalifax.ca and we would be pleased to have your help. Many hands make for light work!
  • What bands are playing/when?

  • How do I become a vendor or sponsor?

    Hey, we’re in Nova Scotia. Rain happens and we will be serving ribs regardless of the weather. (Plus, we have a big tent.)
