7th Harbourside Ribfest will be pickup or delivery in HRM!
The Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour is pleased to announce that the return of Harbourside Ribfest for 2021 will be pickup or delivery on Sunday July 4, 2021, in association with The Westin Nova Scotian. The event, which was set to host five unique rib trucks, local vendors and entertainment has decided that the current regulations are still not conducive to host tens of thousands of people on the waterfront. The live event, which benefits the entire community as all profit is utilized by the Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour to service many local and international charities, will be back for an even hungrier crowd in 2022.
The event has been extremely successful in raising almost $500,000 for various charities over the past five years, while satisfying an inherent demand for more successful events on the waterfront. We have hosted as many as 81,000 satisfied visitors over the weekend on the Halifax site, and are excited to bring a similar audience to the new, Dartmouth location!
Customers can order on-line by going to https://ribfesthalifax.ca/ and can either pick up their dinner at The Westin, or have it delivered within the majority of HRM.
“We are extremely excited that Harbourside Ribfest is back in this unique form, and looking forward to once again serving many hungry Haligonians”, says Ashley Butt, Chair of the Harbourside Ribfest Committee. “Our sponsors for 2021 include Steele Subaru, Cushman Wakefield and The Dairy Farmers of Canada”.
